About Us

Jay enjoys directing the overall strategy of DLC and the day-to-day management of the Portfolio Managers. Upon joining DLC in 2001, Jay is directly responsible for his own group of clients, as well as overseeing all client portfolios as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Jay earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and achieved his Juris Doctor from Western New England College. Jay is also a CFA® charter holder with the CFA Institute. With over thirty years’ experience in the financial services industry, his extensive work history includes firms such as Travelers Insurance Company and PaineWebber/UBS. Jay is fortunate to have tremendous passion and pride in his work.

Jay is currently the Treasurer of the Concord Regional VNA and on the Investment Committee for the First Church of Hopkinton NH.  He was formerly on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of the Circle Program and is a former Trustee of Canterbury Shaker Village.

Jay enjoys competitive downhill skiing, golfing, hiking, and traveling with his family.

Sandy joined DLC in late 2012.  For over twenty years, he shared his research ideas with the DLC portfolio managers from his positions in institutional brokerage after initially being introduced to the firm at Fidelity Capital Markets in 1991.  Sandy manages the technology, consumer discretionary, communication services, and energy sectors while keeping the entire All-Cap Equity portfolio in sync with the markets, key trends, and themes.  Sandy earned a B.A. in History from St. Lawrence University and has more than twenty-five years’ investment experience.

Sandy enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys golf, skiing, and playing the guitar.

Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern Maine and an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. Dan has over twenty years’ of experience in fixed-income portfolio management, research, and trading. Prior to joining D.L. Carlson Investment Group, Dan was an Assistant Vice President, Investment Officer with SBLI of Massachusetts and an Assistant Vice President, Fixed Income Trader with Essex Investment Management Company, LLC of Boston, MA.

Dan is a member of the Boston Securities Traders Association, the Market Technicians Association, and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Dan’s interests include continuing professional studies, golfing, and travel with his wife.

Greg joined DLC in October, 2023. He previously worked as part of the Portfolio Advisory group at a Family Office in Boston, MA. At Carlson, Greg supports the All-Cap US Equity portfolio, with a focus on Financials, Industrials, Real Estate, and Utilities sectors, while contributing to the review and development of the firm’s ETF model portfolios. Greg earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Hobart College. Greg is also a CFA® charterholder with the CFA Institute.

In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with friends/family, golf, and reading.

Kyle joined D.L. Carlson in early 2016 and assists clients with portfolio management and retirement planning. He also monitors Carlson’s model portfolios. Kyle has twenty-three years’ of investment experience. After earning his B.A. in History at the University of New Hampshire, Kyle began his career at Fidelity Investments and worked in several experience-building roles helping investors with retirement and investment guidance. His last role with Fidelity was as a portfolio specialist assisting the Wall Street, NY, office providing market insight and investment support to clients. 

Kyle has two children, Anna and Ian. Besides shuttling kids to and from soccer and baseball games, he enjoys skiing and Mountain Biking as well as spending time with friends and family on the lake.

Alan graduated from Hamilton College in 2021 with a B.A. in Economics. As football captain and Delta Upsilon President he was very active in campus life. After graduation Alan started at Fidelity Investments before joining the Carlson Team in 2022. Alan joined the team as Trader and Account Administrator before becoming a Relationship and Portfolio Manager in 2024. Alan specializes in assisting Carlson Clients to create and refine financial plans.

Born and raised in central New Hampshire, Alan has ties to the Merrimack Valley area and the Tilton School. Alan lives with his fiancée Summer and their cats Jerry and Jeanie. In his free time, you can find Alan at the gym, out for a run, or watching movies. Alan and Summer are avid foodies that enjoy eating their way through any city they travel to!

Kate joined Carlson Investments in early 2025. She assists clients with portfolio management and retirement planning. A NH native, Kate graduated with honors from Barry University in Miami, FL with a B.A. in English – Professional Writing. She began her career in 2000 with Fidelity Investments where she supported NY based clients with retirement and investment planning for many years. She was most recently a product manager for Fidelity’s equity and fixed income separately managed accounts.

Kate has a daughter in college and a son in elementary school. When not cheering them on in sports, she and her family enjoy golf, lawn games, and time outdoors at their favorite spots in FL and Lake Sunapee NH.

Max joined Carlson in 2025 and currently serves as an Investment Analyst. In this role, he focuses on capturing value for the All-Cap US Equity portfolio, specializing in the Healthcare and Consumer Staples sectors. Max earned a B.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering from Lehigh University’s Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) Honors Program. He previously worked at PwC, advising Fortune 500 consumer brands through complex M&A transactions.

Outside of work, Max enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He has a passion for new experiences and adventure.

Lenore joined DLC in 2007 and is directly responsible for managing and troubleshooting DLC’s technology systems, GIPS® compliance, and has general office manager responsibilities. Lenore earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from Granite State College.

Lenore enjoys spending time with her two granddaughters, hiking, beekeeping, and crocheting/knitting.

Jenny earned her B.A. in History at Lynchburg College. She started her career at Travelers Insurance as a benefits specialist in human resources. From there, she went on to higher education, working for Mount Holyoke College as the benefits manager. At DLC, Jenny is responsible for bookkeeping/financial reporting, compliance, and office coordination, as well as various special projects.

Jenny enjoys hiking, skiing, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Steve joined D.L. Carlson in late 2021 and is the Operations Manager running the firm’s trading and client service teams. Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Iona College, New Rochelle, NY. He joins DLC with experience in back office operations, home office, and regional center support through an extensive career at Fidelity Investments for twenty-five years. His last role was as a Service Delivery Consultant supporting regional phone centers, as well as retail and institutional clients.

Steve has four children and four grandchildren. He enjoys fishing and playing guitar, but mostly spending time with his family.

Lisa supports the operations team as a Client Service Specialist and is responsible for assisting clients and portfolio managers with account openings, transactional account needs, requests, and account maintenance. She has a broad range of experience in the financial industry spanning over 30 years. Before joining Carlson Investments, she worked for AG Edwards and Sons as a registered financial associate where she obtained her series 7 and 63. Lisa enjoys being a trusted resource for our clients and prides herself on providing a seamless and valued client experience.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with family, friends and her grandchildren.

Anne comes to Carlson after 22 years in the gifting industry. She brings with her a fresh perspective and a strong willingness to learn. Having a strong foundation in customer service and fraud prevention, she is dedicated to providing every client with a secure and satisfying experience.

In her off-time, Anne enjoys attending her son’s basketball games, gardening and hiking with her husband and their dogs.

Laura comes to Carlson with over ten years’ customer service experience, five of those years at a financial credit union as a Member Experience Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Hartford. She joined the New Hampshire Army National Guard in 2015 and is currently a chief warrant officer serving as a UH-60 Black Hawk medevac pilot. She enjoys working with everyone she meets and is looking forward to assisting clients.

In her free time, Laura enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time on the lake with her husband and their two dogs.

Devin joined Carlson in April, 2024. He previously worked as an Operations Associate at Loomis Sayles and Company in Boston, MA. Devin brings six years of experience in financial services. At Carlson Devin is responsible for all trading activities for both institutional and retail clients. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from UMass Lowell.

In his free time, Devin enjoys fishing, going to the gym, and watching movies.

Diane joined DLC in 2006 as a Document Specialist.  She was primarily responsible for scanning, document maintenance, and recordkeeping.  Her responsibilities have evolved to include communication of marketing materials, preparation of client presentations, social media maintenance, as well as general account administration.  Diane worked in word processing at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over fifteen years prior to joining DLC.  She earned a B.A. in Retail Management and Merchandising as well as an A.S. in Information Processing.

Diane enjoys baking, knitting, and spending time outdoors.
